First Pictures and Clips from Joe Carnahan’s ‘Stretch’, Now Set for October VOD Release

Joe Carnahan‘s action, comedy, thriller Stretch was supposed to have hit theaters earlier this year, all the way back in March, before Universal dropped it from its release calendar. Now the film has something of a release date as Universal Studios Home Entertainment will be releasing it on Video On Demand some time in October, though a specific release date is not yet known. It would appear it’s actually going to happen this time, however, as Carnahan has been leading the charge marketing the film, largely on Twitter with new pictures and now four clips (somewhat not safe for work) from the movie.

The movie centers on a down-on-his-luck chauffeur (Patrick Wilson) looking to relieve himself of some debt when he starts working for a billionaire who makes his life hell. Along with Wilson the film co-stars Ed Helms, Chris Pine, Brooklyn Decker, David Hasselhoff, James Badge Dale, Ray Liotta and Eddie J. Fernandez and despite the fact Universal can’t seem to figure out what to do with it, with a cast like that I’m still looking forward to seeing it.

To get familiar with the project, check out the four clips and new photos below and stay up to date with the project at the film’s official Twitter account.

UPDATE: Now we also have a gag reel along with the clips and pictures:
