Defective: Exclusive stills from upcoming Canadian sci-fi horror film

According to almost every science fiction horror film in history, the future is not a place you want to live in. This is true in writer-director Reese Evenshen’s blistering Canadian horror thriller Defective, a future-shocker starring Colin Paradine, Raven Cousens (Late Night Double Feature) and Ashley Armstrong. High Octane Pictures represents the film for domestic and international sales and the film is set to screen on the festival circuit and sales markets this fall. The company has thrown us a few choice exclusive stills from the film which you can see in the library at the base of this news item.

The film is set in the near future where Rhett Murphy and his estranged sister Jean are forced to flee from a militant police state after witnessing the dark secrets of a nefarious corporation.Defective is the second picture from Eveneshen, who made his feature film blood soaking splash with Dead Genesis back in 2010. Peter Szabo produced the film with his company Possibility Films with filmmaker Isaac Elliott-Fisher who produced the previous Turtle Power and the upcoming Power of Grayskull documentary, which we HOPE is about He-Man and his pals.
