Set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, the upcoming film will serve as the first feature in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4. It centers around Natasha Romanoff as she confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
Black Widow stars MCU vet Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, Ray Winstone, and O-T Fagbenle. Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff was last seen by fans during Avengers: Endgame, where she broke their hearts by sacrificing her life in order for Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton/Hawkeye to obtain the Soul stone in Vormir.
