A24 has shared a brand new The Brutalist trailer for its upcoming historical drama starring Oscar winner Adrien Brody as an architect who moves to America after World War II. Following its world premiere at the 2024 Venice International Film Festival, the film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 20, 2024.

What happens in The Brutalist trailer?
The video highlights Brody’s character’s new life in America, where he gets a chance to showcase his talents once again. However, despite surviving the war in Europe, he still experiences discrimination from his wealthy American boss. Since debuting at the recent Venice International Film Festival, it has received a near-perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes. The film also garnered multiple Golden Globe nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Brody.
The Brutalist is directed by Brady Corbet, who co-wrote the screenplay with Mona Fastvoid. The cast includes Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, Raffey Cassidy, Stacy Martin, Emma Laird, Isaach De Bankolé, and Alessandro Nivola. It is produced by Andrew Lauren, D.J. Gugenheim, Brian Young, Andrew Morrison, Trevor Matthews, and Nick Gordon.
