Earlier this week, Relativity Media The November Man starring Pierce Brosnan and directed by Roger Donaldson (The Bank Job), currently leaving the film without a rating ahead of its August 27 release date. Why? I can only guess they just didn’t want the R-rating associated with the film until they figured out if they wanted to cut to it to PG-13 or just go out with an R. They definitely have some time to figure it out.
As for the plot, the story centers on Peter Devereaux (Brosnan), code named ‘The November Man’, a lethal and highly trained ex-CIA agent, who has been enjoying a quiet life in Switzerland. When Devereaux is lured out of retirement for one last mission, he must protect valuable witness, Alice Fournier, (Olga Kurylenko). He soon uncovers this assignment marks him a target of his former friend and CIA protégé David Mason (Luke Bracey). With growing suspicions of a mole in the agency, there is no one Devereaux can trust, no rules and no holds barred.
