Legendary and Universal Pictures has revealed the first trailer for Crimson Peak, the latest film from Guillermo del Toro starring Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam, Mia Wasikowska and Tom Hiddleston. The spooky story, which has already received an R rating for bloody violence, some sexual content and brief strong language, hits theaters on October 16.
In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds… and remembers.
