The Crown, Season 4 Premiere: In Season 4, as the 1970s are drawing to a close, Queen Elizabeth and her family find themselves preoccupied with safeguarding the line of succession by securing an appropriate bride for Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor), who is still unmarried at 30. As the nation begins to feel the impact of divisive policies introduced by Britain’s first female Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher (Gillian Anderson), tensions arise between her and the Queen which only grow worse as Thatcher leads the country into the Falklands War, generating conflict within the Commonwealth. While Charles’ romance with a young Lady Diana Spencer (Emma Corrin) provides a much-needed fairytale to unite the British people, behind closed doors, the Royal family is becoming increasingly divided. The new season will launch on Sunday, November 15.
Dash & Lily, Series Premiere: A whirlwind Holiday romance builds as cynical Dash (Austin Abrams) and optimistic Lily (Midori Francis) trade dares, dreams, and desires in the notebook they pass back and forth at locations all across New York City, finding they have more in common with each other than they would have expected. The new series is now streaming on Netflix.

Industry, Series Premiere: The cutthroat world of international finance is seen through the eyes of a talented outsider fighting to prove her worth in this exhilarating HBO drama series. Myha’la Herrold stars as Harper Stern, the determined young woman who finds herself among a group of enterprising young graduates vying to secure their futures at Pierpoint & Co., a leading bank in London. The first episode is available to stream now on HBO Max with new episodes airing weekly on Monday nights.
Valley of Tears, Series Premiere: The series is inspired by the true events of the 1973 Yom Kippur War in Israel. Leading up to the ultimate battle, the series follows young combatants thrust into a war that was later revealed could have been avoided by leaders they blindly trusted. The series focuses on the universality of heroism and sacrifice through four unique and intertwined stories: a famous bohemian television star in search of his estranged son, a newly enlisted soldier; a commander and his newly befriended intelligence analyst; tank crewman who represent Israel’s Black Panthers social justice reform movement; and a female officer who refuses to leave the battlefields, disobeying direct orders to evacuate. The first two episodes are available to stream now on HBO Max.

Alex Rider, Season 1 US Premiere: The series, created by Guy Burt (Bletchley Circle) and based on the novels by Anthony Horowitz, centers on a British teenager named Alex Rider, who has been trained as a spy since childhood and is recruited by the Department of Special Operations, a subdivision of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), to infiltrate a controversial corrective academy for the wayward offspring of the ultra-rich. The White Queen and Strike Back: Vendetta star Otto Farrant leads the cast as Rider. The first season is now available to stream on IMDb TV (also available as a channel on Amazon Prime Video).

The South Westerlies, US Series Premiere: Little lies lead to bigger truths in this charming Irish dramedy. Environmental consultant Kate Ryan (Orla Brady, Fringe) goes undercover in a small town to quell objections to a wind farm. But Kate has a complicated history with Carrigeen. Soon after arriving with her son, she runs into an ex-friend and an old flame and realizes her task won’t be a breeze. The series is now streaming on Acorn TV.

The Umbrella Academy, Season 3: Netflix has officially renewed The Umbrella Academy for a third season! Production is expected to start next year in February. The first two seasons are available to stream now.
Alex Rider, Season 2: IMDb TV has renewed the series adaptation Alex Rider for a second season which will be based on author Anthony Horowitz’s fourth novel in the franchise, Eagle Strike. Production is expected to begin early next year. The first season is available to stream now on IMDb TV.
