Daniel Dae Kim Sets Up Fast Company at AMC

Daniel Dae Kim is developing the dramedy Fast Company, based on the play by Carla Ching, at AMC Studios, according to Deadline. The story follows a family of con artists who regroup following years of separation after one of their schemes goes awry.

Ching, who has written on Hulu’s The First, Amazon’s I Love Dick, AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead and USA’s Graceland, will pen the adaptation and produce under Dae Kim’s production banner 3AD Media, which also produces The Good Doctor. She will also executive produce alongside Rina Brannen.

Daniel Dae Kim has starred in a number of high-profile projects on TV, film and video games. Some of his noteworthy credits include Spider-Man 2, TV’s 24 and Lost; and the Saints Row video game series. Most recently he appeared in Hellboy and Always Be My Maybe. Hegoo created the 3AD Media banner “to produce premier content for TV, film and digital media,” according to the trade.
