During today’s Walt Disney Investors Day presentation, the Chairman of Media and Entertainment Distribution revealed that the House of Mouse is currently developing 10 Marvel and Disney series for their streaming platform, Disney+.
In addition, the studio is currently preparing to unveil 15 Disney live-action, Disney Animation and Pixar series and 15 features from all three banners of the House of Mouse!

Over the next few years, roughly 10 @Marvel series, 10 @StarWars series, 15 Disney live action, @DisneyAnimation, and @Pixar series, plus 15 all-new Disney live action, Disney Animation, and Pixar features will be released directly on @DisneyPlus.

Accompanying the streaming platform’s launch in November 2019, Star Wars made its live-action debut on the small screen with the acclaimed Pedro Pascal-led The Mandalorian, which has frequently been credited for helping bring viewers to Disney’s service. Following Mandalorian‘s success, the House of Mouse ordered a final season revival of the fan-favorite animated series The Clone Wars, which debuted back in February, as well as partnered with Marvel for the forthcoming series in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki, which are all slated to debut in the early months of 2021.

Following the announcement of the 10 Marvel and 10 Star Wars series, Lucasfilm subsequently revealed that two spin-offs to Mandalorian are in the works at Disney+, including the Rosario Dawson-led Ahsoka centered on the beloved Clone Wars character and Rangers of the New Republic.
