Double Shot at Love renewed for a third season at MTV.
MTV has officially renewed their reality TV show Double Shot at Love for a third season with Jersey Shore alums DJ Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino set to return. The renewal comes after six months since the show had wrapped up its Las Vegas-set second season. The series is scheduled to make its return later this year with a slight alteration to the format as Pauly found love last season, so he and his girlfriend Nikki will be helping Vinny find a girlfriend.
Here’s how MTV describes the new format: “After seeing first-hand how DJ Pauly D and Nikki found love on the show, ultimate bachelor Vinny is ready for someone to capture his heart. DJ Pauly D and Nikki will guide Vin toward finding his own happiness — this time with an insider’s perspective of what it’s like on the other side. Will their one-two punch help Vinny land the perfect match? Whether he finds love or not, one thing is for sure…things are bound to get awk-ward!“

Double Shot at Love is a spinoff series of Tila Tequila and Ikki Twins’ dating game show Shot At Love which only ran on-air for one season from 2008-2009. The first season debuted in 2019, where it featured 20 female contestants from across the country who were trying to compete for the affection of DJ Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino.
Season 2 slightly veered away from the first season as it now followed more of the Jersey Shore format. It featured six girls from the first season and three new male roommates who lived with Pauly and Vinny in their Las Vegas suite.
