Disney+ Star Wars series The Bad Batch releases poster
The original animated series launching exclusively on Disney+ Star Wars: The Bad Batch unveiled a new poster. As we draw closer to the release date on Tuesday, May the 4th the series has provided a couple of looks into the world and characters it’s revisiting that were introduced in the Clone Wars. As with numerous animated series from Lucasfilm, the first episode will be presented as a 70-minute premiere. The mini-movie will kick off new episodes to follow every Friday beginning May 7.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch follows the elite and experimental clones known as Clone Force 99 as they navigate their way in a rapidly changing galaxy during the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. What makes them the Bad Batch is their unique set of skills exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew. Each one unique from their brothers in the Clone Army due to genetic anomalies that made them stand out from the squad ranks.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch will feature the voice talents of Dee Bradley Baker as the clone troopers and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand. This series continues to expand the Star Wars universe on Disney+ and will be followed by more shows to feature on the streamer alongside The Mandalorian, which will return for season 3. Future slated shows include Ahsoka starring Rosario Dawson, The Rangers of the New Republic, Andor with Diego Luna returning as Cassian Andor from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Obi-Wan Kenobi starring Ewan McGregor, Justin Simien’s Lando, Star Wars: Visions, Leslye Headland’s The Acolyte, and the animated A Droid Story.

Star Wars: The Bat Batch is executive produced by Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Athena Portillo (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels), Brad Rau (Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Resistance) and Jennifer Corbett (Star Wars Resistance) with Carrie Beck (The Mandalorian, Star Wars Rebels) as co-executive producer and Josh Rimes as producer (Star Wars Resistance). Rau is also serving as supervising director with Corbett as head writer.
