The cast of HBO Max’s Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin continues to grow, with Deadline recently reporting that Alex Aiono, Mallory Bechtel, and Eric Johnson have joined the series.

All three actors will star as series regulars, and join a cast that already features Chandler Kinney, Maia Reficco, and Bailee Madison in the modern-day take on the extremely popular series that ran for seven years starting in 2010.
According to Deadline, Aiono will play Shawn, the supportive boyfriend of Maia Reficco’s Noa, and “one of the most popular jocks at Millwood High.” Bechtel will play Karen, an antagonist to the Little Liars at Millwood High, while Johnson will play Sheriff Beasley, the patriarch of the Beasley family and another character who may become a villain to the Little Liars.
Based upon the bestselling series of books by Sara Shepard, the Pretty Little Liars reboot is executive produced and written by Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring. Executive producers are Michael Grassi, Caroline Baron, and Alloy’s Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo.
The series is a production by Warner Bros. Television, Aguirre-Sacasa’s Muckle Man Productions, and Alloy Entertainment, the studio behind shows like Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, and You.

A pop culture phenomenon, the first Pretty Little Liars series was created by I. Marlene King. It ran on-air for seven seasons from 2010 to 2017, where it starred Troian Bellisario, Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell, Sasha Pieterse, and Janel Parrish. During its seven-year run, Pretty Little Liars ranked as the #1 scripted series on all of cable television in the teen girl demographic, and it ranks as the #1 series ever to air on Freeform/ABC Family.
