Superman & Lois Season 4 Set, Gotham Knights Canceled at The CW

The CW has finally made the final decision regarding the future of its remaining DC shows, three weeks following the series finale of The Flash which effectively ended the network’s Arrowverse franchise. The Hollywood Reporter brings word that The CW has decided to move forward with the renewal of Superman & Lois Season 4. However, unlike previous seasons, the next installment will only run on-air for ten episodes.

As for the Gotham Knights series, The CW has officially canceled its latest teen superhero drama after one season. The Misha Collins-led series will air its final two episodes, titled “City of Owls” and “Night of the Owls,” on June 20 and June 27, respectively. Meanwhile, Superman & Lois is currently airing its third season, which will conclude on June 27 with its thirteenth episode titled “What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger.”

Who’s the Cast of Superman & Lois?

Superman & Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, Alexander Garfin as Jordan Kent, and Michael Bishop as Jonathan Kent. The series also features Dylan Walsh as General Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang-Cushing, Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, Inde Navarette as Sarah Cushing, and Wolé Parks as John Henry Irons.

Season 3 also features the introduction of The Walking Dead alum Michael Cudlitz as the newest live-action version of iconic DC villain Lex Luthor.

The series is created and written by The Flash executive producer Todd Helbing. It is executive produced by DC TV universe creator Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns through their Berlanti Productions banner.
