Prime Video’s The Bondsman Adds 4 Cast Members to Kevin Bacon Series

According to Variety, Blumhouse Television has tapped Damon Herriman (Mindhunter), Beth Grant (Donnie Darko), Maxwell Jenkins (Lost In Space) and Jolene Purdy (The White Lotus) to join Kevin Bacon and Jennifer Nettles in Prime Video’s upcoming action horror The Bondsman.

Herriman is set to play Lucky, “the owner of a successful country music club, who is in a relationship with Maryanne (Nettles).” Meanwhile, Grant will be playing the mother of Bacon’s Hub Halloran. As for Jenkins and Purdy, they are portraying the respective roles of Hub’s son Cade and Midge. The latter is described as a someone, who’s “weary with the understated gravitas of someone who’s learned the hard way how to hold her ground in a male-dominated world. Midge may look unassuming but she’s actually a secret emissary.”

Who’s involved in The Bondsman?

The Bondsman is created and executive produced by Grainger David, with Erik Oleson serving as the showrunner. The 8-episode series will executive produced by Bacon, Jason Blum, Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold, Chris Dickie and Paul Shapiro. It hails from Blumhouse Television and CrimeThink. It is expected to debut on Prime Video.

“The series centers around Hub Halloran (Bacon), a backwoods bounty hunter who comes back from the dead with an unexpected second chance at life, and love, and a nearly-forgotten musical career — only to find that his old job now has a demonic new twist,” reads the logline.
