Disney Plus series Percy Jackson and the Olympians has found an actor for the fan-favorite character Tyson in season two.
At San Diego Comic Con Rick Riordan and Disney Plus revealed Under the bridge actor Daniel Demier will take on the role of the cyclops Tyson in the adaptation of Riordan’s Greek mythology-inspired young adult series.
Tyson is a young Cyclops who grew up all alone on the streets, and finds it difficult to survive in the human world. Shy and awkward, with a heart almost as big as he is, Tyson soon discovers that Poseidon is his father, which means Percy Jackson is his half-brother… and that Tyson may have finally found a home.
Deimer can currently be seen in Hulu’s Under the Bridge, which is based on the critically acclaimed book of the same name. He also starred in Supercell, The Midnight Club, and The Half of It.
