Created by Down and Kay, Industry gives an insider’s view of the blackbox of “high finance” through the eyes of an outsider, Harper Stern (Myha’la Herrold), a talented young woman from upstate New York. Following a group of young grads fueled by ambition, youth, romance and drugs, the series examines issues of gender, race, class, and privilege in the workplace as these impressionable young minds begin to forge their identities within the pressure cooker environment and sensory blitz of Pierpoint & Co’s trading floor, where meritocracy is promised but hierarchy is king.

The cast for the series includes Myha’la Herrold (Premature), Marisa Abela (Man in a Box), Harry Lawtey (The Letter for the King), David Johnson (Deep State) and Nabhaan Rizwan (1917) as “The Graduates” alongside Conor MacNeill (101 Dalmatian Street), Freya Mavor (Twice Upon a Time), Will Tudor (Game of Thrones) and Ken Leung (The Blacklist) as “Management.”

The series is executive produced by Down and Kay alongside Jane Tranter, Lachlan MacKinnon, Ryan Rasmussen, David P. Davis and Ben Irving for BBC, with Ed Lilly attached as co-executive producer and Lee Thomas set to produce. Directors for the series include Lilly, Tinge Krishnan, Mary Nighy and Lena Dunham (Girls).
