Comedy Central has released the official trailer for the upcoming second season of their hit comedy series Awkwafina is Nora From Queens, which is scheduled to make its return on August 18, with a special two-episode event. In addition to the trailer release, the network has also revealed Season 2’s star-studded guest lineup which includes Margaret Cho (All-American Girl), Alex Borstein (The Marvel Mrs. Maisel), Ross Butler (Shazam! Fury of Gods), Haley Joel Osment (Goliath), and Chloe Fineman (Saturday Night Live).
The Awkwafina is Nora From Queens Season 2 trailer, which you can check out below, highlights Nora’s new career choices, her dad’s continuing romance with Jennifer Esposito’s Brenda, and her Grandma’s friendly competition among other seniors. It also teases Nora getting a potential proposal from Jaboukie Young-White’s Daniel.

Season 2 will also feature the guest-starring appearances from Alan Kim (Minari), Lauren Ash (Superstore), Cindy Cheung (13 Reasons Why), Catherine Cohen (Search Party), Catherine Curtin (Stranger Things), Nancy Eng (Premium Rush), Fortune Feimster (Sweet & Salty), Judy Gold (Search Party), Stephanie Hsu (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Kerri Kenney-Silver (Reno 911!), C.S. Lee (Dexter), Fay Ann Lee (Falling for Grace), Ajay Mehta (The Good Place), Bea Soong (The Wives Of Henry Yuk), Aaron Takahashi (Yes Man) and Jade Wu (Luke Cage).
Loosely based on Awkwafina’s real-life experiences, Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens centers around Nora Lum, who is growing up in Flushing. Raised by her Dad and Grandma alongside her cousin, Nora leans on her family as she navigates life and young adulthood in outer borough-NYC.
The series stars Golden Globe winner Awkwafina (The Farewell), Lori Tan Chinn, BD Wong, and Bowen Yang, who recently scored his first Emmy nomination as Outstanding Supporting Actor for Saturday Night Live. It also features Gabo Augustine, Michelle Buteau, Esposito, Chrissie Fit, Jonathan “Dumbfoundead” Park, Young-White, Wai Ching Ho, and Liang Ying.
