The CW has released the first trailer for the upcoming third season of the Javicia Leslie-led Batwoman series, teasing the team’s newest challenge. With most of Batman’s dangerous villain trophies missing, the team enlists the help of Alice in order to track down the items and prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. The series is scheduled to make its return on Wednesday, October 13.
The Batwoman Season 3 trailer, which you can check out below, also teases the arrival of classic Batman villains including Mad Hatter, Killer Croc, and more. It also gives us our first look at Victoria Cartagena’s new iteration of Renee Montoya.
Batwoman is currently led by Javicia Leslie as Ryan Wilder, the one who took up the mantle of the Scarlet Knight from Kate Kane. Season 2 had concluded its run last June, where it also debuted Wallis Day (Krypton) as the new Kate Kane following the surprising exit of Ruby Rose.
Season 3 will also feature the arrival of new characters including Bridget Regan as Pamela Isley/Poison Ivy, Robin Givens as Jada Jet, Nick Creegan as Marquis Jet, and Victoria Cartagena as Renee Montoya, which will be a different iteration from Cartegena’s previous Gotham role. In addition, .

The series currently stars Rachel Skarsten as Alice, Meagan Tandy as Sophie, Nicole Kang as Mary Hamilton, and Camrus Johnson as Luke Fox/Batwing.
