Showtime has released a brand new Yellowjackets trailer for the forthcoming series starring Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, Melanie Lynskey, and Tawny Cypress, described as part survival epic, part psychological horror story, and part coming-of-age drama. The series is scheduled to make its debut on Sunday, November 10.
The video, which you can check out below, takes us back-and-forth between the past and the present as four plane crash survivors get reminded of what they’ve gone through by a mysterious person who’s been sending them clues about their secret.

Yellowjackets is created and executive produced by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson (Narcos). Joining Ricci, Lewis, Lynskey, and Cypress are Ella Purnell (Sweetbitter), Samantha Hanratty (SHAMELESS), Sophie Thatcher (Prospect), Sophie Nélisse (The Book Thief), Steven Krueger (The Originals), Jasmin Savoy Brown (The Leftovers), and Warren Kole (Shades of Blue).
“The story is the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness,” reads the synopsis. “The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.”
