Ricochet Addresses The Hurt Syndicate Snub on AEW Dynamite

In the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, former WWE star Ricochet faced off with The Hurt Syndicate. The special Holiday Bash edition featured commentator Tony Schiavone introducing Ricochet in the ring.

Ricochet, who is competing in the Continental Classic tournament, will face Will Ospreay at Christmas Collision this weekend. As Ricochet entered the ring to discuss his tournament run on AEW Dynamite, The Hurt Syndicate consisting, of MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin, interrupted him.

Back in October, before Bobby Lashley joined The Hurt Syndicate, Ricochet had an encounter with MVP and Shelton Benjamin. MVP handed Ricochet a business card, but he declined the offer, saying he was focused on his own path. Despite this, he kept the card, hinting at a possible future alliance with the faction.

Fast forward to AEW Dynamite, where Ricochet confronted The Hurt Syndicate. He praised their appearance and inquired if they had watched his recent matches. Ricochet then assured the faction that they would witness a different side of him in his upcoming match against Will Ospreay.

However, MVP asked to see the business card, and when he handed it over, Bobby Lashley grabbed him by the throat. MVP tore up the card, declaring that the offer was no longer valid because nobody “likes a kiss-a**.” Lashley then released Ricochet, who left the ring and headed backstage.

Later, during a backstage interview with Renee Paquette, Ricochet was asked about the confrontation with The Hurt Syndicate, but he chose not to respond. Instead, he talked about focusing on his upcoming match with Will Ospreay. After the awkward segment, fans criticized his treatment, but he has since broken his silence, defending The Hurt Syndicate.

With Ricochet surprisingly defending the faction’s actions, it will be interesting to see what unfolds next in this situation. The high-flyer has promised to show them a different side of himself during his match against Will Ospreay this Saturday. Will this lead to him joining MVP’s faction? Only time will tell.
