Drew McIntyre Reveals Why He Embraced The Rock Despite Tension With The Bloodline

On the WWE RAW Netflix premiere, former World Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre and The Rock had an interesting encounter. McIntyre, who made his return in December, has targeted the original Bloodline members.

He has already attacked each member of the faction but has yet to face the leader, Roman Reigns. When The Rock, also a member of The Bloodline, met McIntyre on WWE RAW, the two surprised fans by embracing each other instead of showing any tension.

During the premiere, The Rock, who chose not to showcase his Final Boss persona, displayed a more gracious side, leaving many fans shocked. Known for his villainous persona in previous appearances, he showed a kinder side during the encounter.

Many had expected a confrontation between Roman Reigns and The Rock at WrestleMania 41, but The Rock instead referred to Reigns as the original Tribal Chief. Not only that, he also presented Reigns with a Ula Fala after his victory over Solo Sikoa in the Tribal Combat Match.

Amid this interaction, McIntyre, who has been constantly calling out Roman Reigns for his actions over the years, still showed a lighter side with The Great One, even after seeing The Rock’s tribute to Reigns.

Drew McIntyre explains how The Rock has helped in WWE

WWE superstar Drew McIntyre reacted to the news of TikTok being unbanned by sharing a video. In the video, he discussed several ongoing issues, including his thoughts on The Bloodline, Seth Rollins, and his recent interaction with The Rock. McIntyre addressed why he was cordial with The Rock, despite him being a member of The Bloodline.

He explained, “What about The Rock thing? I’ve seen that online. ‘Oh, but Drew, he’s with The Bloodline, why would you be nice to him?’ Again, you don’t listen. So, simply, let me explain to those who wronged me personally. [The Rock] He’s helped me, endorsed me, looked out for me. Has he wronged me? No, quite the opposite.”

The interaction between McIntyre and The Great One has sparked speculation. Many fans are now questioning whether The Rock’s friendly attitude is part of a larger plan to target Roman Reigns, potentially setting up a match at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
