Starring Rowoon and Cho Yi-Hyun, KBS recently released the trailer of The Matchmakers episode 4. The K-drama revolves around the lead characters marrying off Joseon men and women who have crossed their primal marriage age.
Rowoon plays the King’s son-in-law, Sim Jung-Woo, a widower whose bride died during the wedding ceremony. Cho Yi-Hyun essays dual roles in the K-drama. Besides being the first premier’s widowed daughter-in-law, Jung Soon-Deok, she also plays the matchmaker Yeo Joo-Daek.

The Matchmakers K-drama episode 4 release date, plot & more
The Matchmakers K-drama has released three episodes so far. Episode 4 will air on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 9:45 p.m. KST on KBS. Viewers can also watch the episode on Viki.
In the previous episode, Sim Jung-Woo (Rowoon) and Yeo Joo-Daek (Cho Yi-Hyun) work together on a matchmaking case. The mission becomes difficult after the three brides’ blind mother is arrested. The upcoming episode will feature the lead characters trying to save their candidates’ mother.
The Matchmakers episode 4 trailer begins with the Defense Minister discussing the punishment the other should receive. Jung-Woo is seen making an expensive deal with the mayor. However, it is unclear whether or not he tries to take the three brides’ side. Additional scenes hint that he may help Joo-Daek in her mission to protect the clients.
The preview also shows the much-awaited encounter of Jung-Woo and Joo-Daek’s original identity, Jung Soon-Deok. The video ends with the female lead saying, “Do you know how long it takes for a man and a woman to fall in love?” Jung-Woo replies, “I am not a man who will disappoint you.”
When she says the dialog, the scene features her trying to get something from the top shelf as Rowoon’s character reaches out to help her. In a classic move, the duo ends up sharing a romantic moment.
