Popular Disney Plus K-drama, Vigilante, is all set to air a brand-new episode on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. The series follows the story of Kim Ji-Yong (Nam Joo-Hyuk), who is a dedicated police university student by day and a vigilante at night. Inspired by personal sufferings, he has taken the law into his own hands to undertake his brand of justice for criminals.
Episode 3 will feature a fierce hunt for Kim Ji-Yong, both, from the police as well as reporter Choi Mi-Ryeo (Kim So-Jin). The first two episodes revealed the lead character’s back story, which inspired him to act as a vigilante to not only provide justice to victims but also protect them. However, this brand of justice has only led the police to be more active in catching the vigilante himself.
Kim Ji-Yong is most wanted on Vigilante Episode 3
Episodes 1 and 2 gave viewers a glimpse into Kim Ji-Yong’s character. He is a sincere and hardworking police university student by day but turns into a fierce and vengeful vigilante at night. However, he still has a moral compass that he follows. Ji-Yong will only kill criminals who fail to repent for their crimes and will give a second chance to those who regret their actions, and promise to repent for the same.
After the gruesome murder of Seo Doo-Yeop by Ji-Yong himself, the police hired a special investigation team to look into the vigilante’s actions. Jo-Heon (Yoo Ji-Tae) serves as the leader of the unit and is on the lookout for Ji-Yong. However, he’s not the only one desperately trying to hunt for the vigilante. Reported Choi Mi-Ryeo is also looking out for details about him.
In a newly released trailer for this week’s episodes, people wonder what kind of message the vigilante wants to leave to the world. Meanwhile, the reporter is desperate for any clue that might lead her to Ji-Yong. This doesn’t stop the latter from delivering justice to the criminals as he strangles a man on a hospital bed.
Viewers will also catch a glimpse of Cho Kang-Ok (Lee Joon-Hyuk), who is a wealthy businessman and an admirer of the vigilante. There is another crime scene, but Ji-Yong affirms that is it not the vigilante’s doing. The trailer teases an introduction of a masked man, who wishes to collaborate with the vigilante.
It’s a race to find the vigilante Kim Ji-Yong. While there is Jo Heon on the one side, reporter Choi Mi-Ryeo isn’t ready to give up as well. Who will win? Catch Episode 3 on November 15, 2023, at 5 p.m. KST on Disney Plus.
