In The Player 2: Master of Swindlers episode 3, Ha-Ri meets Yun-Gi as a successful salesperson whose side business is selling drugs. Meanwhile, Ha-Ri sends Cha Jae-Yi (Jang Gyu-Ri) to Yun-Gi’s company disguised as a new intern. She plants recording mics and devices in the office.

Ha-Ri’s plan to trap Yun-Gi works, and the latter agrees to work with him. Meanwhile, Jae-Yi discovers that Yun-Gi has made his artists do inappropriate things for money. He also has video clips of the victims. Therefore, the artists have not exposed the CEO yet. The company’s team leader says, “Why would they [artists] renew their contracts with him after seven years if it not for that?” She further learns that the clips are hidden in Yun-Gi’s safe.

The next day, Ha-Ri invited Yun-Gi to his “fake” office, where he set up multiple computers. Yun-Gi is made to believe that the salesman runs a huge drug racket using AI (Artificial Intelligence). To lure the CEO deeper into his scam, Ha-Ri gaslights him in believing he desperately wants to work with Ha-Ri. The two finally made a deal where Yun-Gi had to pay seven billion won to Ha-Ri.

On the other hand, Jae-Yi and Byung-Min track the original video clips in Yun-Gi’s office. After a chaotic mission, Jae-Yi bumps into an old friend who is the CEO’s artist. She tells him that she has gotten rid of the original video files but has no idea if he has made copies. Jae-Yi advises that he has to fight his own battles moving forward.
