Episode 6 of High School Return of a Gangster debuted on Wavve and TVING on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. The latest episode sees Song Yi Heon, aka Kim Deuk Pal (Yoon Chan Young), and Choi Se Kyung (Bong Jae Hyun) spending a peaceful day at the seaside. Meanwhile, it also shows Kim Dong Soo (Won Tae Min) and Jong Chul (Ko Dong Ok) following them to the place.
High School Return of a Gangster episode 6 further displays that Dong Soo and Jong Chul have started to believe that Yi Heon is none other than their late boss, Kim Deuk Pal’s son. In the episode, the audience also sees Se Kyung’s abusive father coming to the school and accusing Yi Heon of forcefully making his son spend a night outside. The biggest highlight of the episode is Yi Heon standing up against Se Kyung’s father and confronting him about how he abuses his son at home.
High School Return of a Gangster Episodes 6: Yoon Chan Young confronts Bong Jae Hyun’s father for lashing out at his son
Episode 6 of High School Return of a Gangster shows Song Yi Heon, aka Kim Deuk Pal (Yoon Chan Young), and Choi Se Kyung’s (Bong Jae Hyun) train journey to the seaside. Yi Heon notices that Dong Soo and Jong Chul are on the same train. He realizes that they are following him. Thus, he decides to keep an eye on them.
After reaching the beach, Yi Heon and Se Kyung feel refreshed and happy. They enjoy their time playing at the beach. Then they go shopping at the seaside stores. After that, Yi Heon even teaches Se Kyung how to ride a bicycle. The two of them then have a delicious meal together. Meanwhile, Jong Chul and Dong Soo follow them throughout the entire time. At night, Yi Heon tries to get rooms for him and Se Kyung at a fancy hotel. But they refuse to give them rooms as they are children. Thus, they have to check into a small motel for the night. Dong Soo and Jong Chul also get a room just beside them.
In High School Return of a Gangster episode 6, after Se Kyung falls asleep, Yi Heon calls his father. He tells him everything truthfully. He asks his father to understand his son and be kind to him. However, it backfires as the next day, Se Kyung’s abusive father arrives at the school. He then creates a scene in front of their teacher. He accuses Yi Heon of manipulating his son and running his educational life. The teacher tries to calm him down. In the chaotic situation, Se Kyung becomes unconscious due to extreme stress.
After that, Song Yi Heon takes it upon himself to confront Se Kyung’s father. He tries to make him understand that his strict ways are disturbing Se Kyung’s mental health. He first requests him not to control his son’s life. Yi Heon also asks him to be a supportive and caring father for him. However, when he refuses to understand, Song Yi Heon, aka Duek Pal, raises his voice and threatens him. It makes Se Kyung’s father furious.
Toward the end of episode 6 of High School Return of a Gangster, Dong Soo and Jong Chul start to follow Song Yi Heon’s orders because they believe he is the son of their boss, Kim Deuk Pal. They even threaten Lee Mi Kyung (Kwang Bo Ra) so that she does not try to harm Yi Heon or his mother.
At the end of the episode, viewers see that Se Kyung’s father has called the school’s principal. He has also called a school violence committee meeting to punish Song Yi Heon. He manipulated the truth and told everyone that Yi Heon had been trying to ruin his son’s life against his will. Son Yi Heon, aka Kim Duek Pal, learns about it at school when his peers behave differently. The episode ends with Yi Heon deciding not to let this slide.
