Netflix has officially set the release date for the upcoming series adaptation of The Lincoln Lawyer, based on Michael Connelly’s bestselling crime novel series. All 10 episodes will be available for streaming on May 13.
The date announcement also came with the release of The Lincoln Lawyer photos, which you can check out below, featuring our first look at Manuel Garcia-Rulfo’s Mickey Haller, a character previously played by Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey in the 2011 film adaptation. The photos also feature some of the main cast, including Neve Campbell and Becki Newton.

The first season of The Lincoln Lawyer will be based on the novel series’ second book titled, The Brass Verdict. The series stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Christopher Gorham, Krista Warner, Michael Graziadei, and Jamie McShane.
“The series centers around Mickey Haller, an iconoclastic idealist, runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car, as he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles,” reads the logline.

The Lincoln Lawyer series is created, written and executive produced by David E. Kelly (Big Little Lies, Mr. Mercedes), with Ted Humphrey serving as the showrunner. Executive producers are Ted Humphrey, Michael Connelly, and Ross Fineman.
