Former WWE Champion CM Punk became emotional during Ricochet’s possible final appearance on WWE RAW. Ricochet, whose contract with WWE is up this summer, has informed the company that he will be leaving WWE once his contract expires. However, reports ahead of the latest WWE RAW suggest that tonight’s episode will mark Ricochet’s last appearance with WWE, as he has no further dates scheduled for the promotion.
Ricochet made a backstage appearance on the show, engaging in a conversation with Ilja Dragunouv before Dragunov’s match against Bron Breakker. Both Ricochet and Dragunov have been victims of Breakker’s victorious attacks in recent weeks. On RAW, Dragunov and Breakker faced off in a singles match. After a hard-fought battle, Breakker emerged victorious, defeating Dragunov with a devastating spear.
Following the match, as Breakker prepared to attack Dragunov again, he was stopped by the former US Champion. Later in the show, as Ricochet was helping Dragunov, they were both attacked once again by Breakker. He delivered a spear to Dragunov, sending him crashing into the production cases.
He then turned his attention to Ricochet, brutally attacking him backstage by slamming him onto production trucks and power slamming him on top of a car, shattering the windshield. After the attack, the high-flyer was taken by officials on a stretcher to an ambulance. Former WWE star CM Punk reacted to the video, commenting, “RIP-ochet” with an emotional emoji.

WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin was in tears after witnessing her fiance Ricochet being attacked by Bron Breakker. Her emotional reaction was shown on the show as she rushed backstage following the attack. She was also spotted in the ambulance with tears in her eyes as her fiance was carried out on a stretcher.
