Former WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley returned to WWE Raw following Liv Morgan‘s match. The latest edition of WWE Raw’s main event featured a mixed tag-team match between Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio against the team of Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega.
Liv Morgan convinced Dominik Mysterio to tag with her. At first, Dominik refused, but Morgan apologized for accidentally costing him his match against Rey Mysterio last week. She insisted on helping him win this match to make amends.
During the final moments of the match, Liv Morgan threw a chair into the ring to distract the referee. With the referee distracted, she then tripped Rey Mysterio from the top rope. This led Dominik to hit the Frog Splash and secure the victory. After the match, Morgan went to hug Dominik, but he coldly pushed her away.
There was a brief tense moment between them before Rhea Ripley’s surprise return music hit. Ripley walked down to the ring, prompting Morgan to retreat through the crowd. She slid into the ring and confronted Dominik Mysterio. When Dominik tried to hug her, Ripley slid out of the ring and stormed to the back.
For those unaware, Liv Morgan injured Ripley’s shoulder in April, forcing her to relinquish the Women’s World Title. During Ripley’s absence, Morgan, who had warned her before, seized everything from her. Now that Ripley has returned, she is furious with Dirty Dom. However, she also took a jab at Morgan, the woman who took her title, as well as Dominik from her.
Rhea Ripley changes X (Twitter) profile picture to Liv Morgan
The former WWE Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley, decided to mock Liv Morgan by changing her X (formerly Twitter) profile picture. Ripley not only announced her return with the message “MAMI’S BACK!” but also replaced her profile photo with Morgan’s facial expression after seeing her shocking return on WWE Raw.
With rage in Ripley’s eyes for Dominik Mysterio and a clear message for Liv Morgan, speculation runs wild. It appears that this explosive situation will culminate in a high stakes championship match at the upcoming premium live event, WWE SummerSlam.
