However, the situation took an unexpected turn when Big E returned to calm the tension between Kingston and Woods. He revealed plans to manage The New Day until he recovered from his injury.
Although the fans gave him a huge ovation, Kingston and Woods appeared unimpressed. In a surprising twist, they both turned on Big E, accusing him of abandoning them for the past two years. Since Big E’s neck injury in 2022, he has been out of action.
Big E defended himself, explaining that he broke his neck and was doing everything he could to return to the ring. However, Kingston shocked him further by responding, “You left us, E. Yeah, you broke your neck. So what?”

Kofi Kingston recently appeared on the Chase & Big Joe Show, where he defended both his and Xavier Woods’ comments on WWE RAW. He expressed his surprise that many fans didn’t understand the reasoning behind their actions.
Kingston stated, “Everything we said on Monday night was completely factual. We told the truth. You might not like to hear what it was, but people online and social media are cussing and cursing us and there are all these insults that have nothing to do with what we’re talking about.”
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods’ comments on Big E not only received backlash from fans but also from Big E’s girlfriend, Kris Yim. The latter called out both stars for their actions.
