Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray presented an intriguing scenario involving Paul Heyman turning on Roman Reigns, with CM Punk playing a key role. He suggested that Punk’s victory would be the most impactful story. Ray suggested a dramatic twist of Heyman betraying Reigns to help Punk secure the win.
Bully Ray stated, “Can you think of anybody else being a bigger story than Punk winning the Rumble this year? We can make cases for Roman, we can make cases for Jacob [Fatu], we could probably make cases for Solo, but Punk winning the Rumble, let’s isolate this moment in time.”
The veteran went on to elaborate on Reigns’ potential. He said, “It comes down to Roman and Punk and Heyman stabs Roman in the back so Punk could go over. Could anybody create a bigger moment than that?”
